What Is the CoastalGuard Screening System™?

We provide professional design and installation of custom residential porch screening systems.

The CoastalGuard Screening System™ is Shoreline Screening Solutions' proprietary porch screening system, developed and refined over 25+ years of installing screens along the Carolina coast. It combines powder-coated aluminum framing, salt-air-resistant hardware, and high-performance polycore screen material to produce panels that hold up where others don't.

Because the system is engineered for superior strength, we can build oversized panoramic panels up to 140 square feet without the bracing that clutters less capable systems. Fewer frame members means fewer visual interruptions and more of the view you moved here for.

Choose the Screen That Fits Your Porch

bug

No-See-Um

The standard screen used in most installations. A tighter mesh than typical screen, it blocks the near-microscopic insects common in coastal NC, including the no-see-ums that make sunset on an unscreened porch miserable from May through October, while still allowing good airflow and not reducing visibility.

paw

PET screen

A heavy-duty option for homes with dogs or cats. The pet screen is significantly thicker than standard material and resists scratching, clawing, and the pressure of a dog pressing against the frame. It's also UV-resistant and cleans easily.

lock

Privacy Screen

A denser weave that reduces visibility from the outside while still allowing air circulation. A good option for porches that face neighboring properties, busy roads, or common areas. The privacy screen still lets light in and feels open from inside the porch.
